In this Enuff academy, Geoff will be teaching you how to slow down and stop while riding.

things to remember

​​

  • Do not push your tail straight down to brake as this will cause wear

​

foot brake

  • Take your back foot and step just ahead of the board

  • Using your back foot, apply pressure to the ground to slow down and stop

  • Do not step your back foot behind the board

​

powerslide

  • Apply weight to your front foot to release some weight from your back foot

  • Use your back foot to pivot the lighter, backend around

  • The board will then slide to a stop
